This class draws from a variety of modern dance styles,
and focuses on full body integration through efficient and organic motion.  
Students warm up with a combination of improvisation and technical phrases.  
Utilizing material from the warm-up,
longer combinations are crafted to encompass weighted and released movements,
floorwork, inversions, core strength, suspension and momentum












Bio:

Michelle Struckholz has been studying dance since the age of 4.
With extensive ballet and modern dance training,
she received her B.S. in Dance from James Madison University in 1997.
Michelle then ventured to New York City where she studied ballet with Jackie Villamil, modern
with David Dorfman, Kevin Wynn and many others, and performed with CORA.

Two years later, Michelle landed and stayed in San Francisco for 10 years and had the
pleasure of working with Kathleen Hermesdorf and Albert Mathias of Motion Lab (now La
ALTERANTIVA), Company Mecanique Dance Theater, Annie Rosenthal and Company, David
Dorfman Dance, and EmSpace Dance.
